若者が政治をする方が良い。「若者を中心とする政党が政権を担って政治を行う」という意味だ。但し、若者は、経験不足で視野が狭い。単純論理に走り易い。目先の善悪や正誤にこだわって争う感情も強い。だから、それを補うために、老人の経験や知恵とのコラボレーションが大前提となる。善良で良識のある老人は、死を意識して社会に良いものを残そうとする。歳を取って、更に、欲張る者もいるが、その数は少ない。

多くのしがらみを社会で作ってしまった働き盛りの大人たちが、政権を握っていては、人間的或いは組織的な癒着から生じる歪みをどうやっても払拭できない。明治以来の体質が、今も尚、その底を流れる日本の官僚体制の改革は、極めて難しい。社会との様々なしがらみを持つ大人たちでは、この現実社会の行政実務を牛耳る官僚たちに真っ向から対抗することはできない。又、お金や票に直結する大組織とのしがらみを持つ大人たちでは、利益誘導型政治から抜け出すこともできない。働き盛りの大人たちには、働くことに集中して貰おう。

未来の政府は、偉そうに一般民衆を統治するものではなく、一般民衆が構成する社会の調整機構として、即ち、公僕として、機能するものである。若者よ！老人から、その経験と知恵を借りて、君たちの「これからの社会」は、君たちが自分たちで作れ。大人にお願いばかりしても、また、不平不満を漏らしても、無駄だ。若い君たちの方が、社会とのしがらみが少ない分、公正・公平な社会を作ることができるのだ。
