現進化段階の人類にとって、数多くの矛盾を内包するものではあるが、やはり、自由・平等・民主主義は、我々社会が向かうべき基本的な方向性を示していると思う。
だが、この自然宇宙の超知的設計創造者は、社会性を模索する生命種に対し、自由・平等・民主主義とは全く異なる、進化の方向も呈示している。それが、真社会性である。

真社会性とは、アリやハチ等の集団によく見られる社会性を定義する言葉である。社会を維持するための役割分担が、遺伝的固定性を持って、体やその機能の違いにまで及んでいる進化形態である。多くの場合、生殖は少数の女王に任せられ、一般の雌は、女王に比べて体も小さく、不妊であり、仕事や戦いに、その役割を担う。
定義を緩やかに考えた場合、アリやハチばかりでなく、カメムシやアブラムシや甲虫、クモやハダニ等にも、真社会性を呈するものが存在する。或る種のアブラムシでは、天敵を攻撃する役割を与えられた幼虫（前二対の足が発達している）は、二齢になることなく、即ち、成虫になれずに死んでいく運命を持つ。
この他、サンゴ礁に集団で生息する或る種のテッポウエビにも真社会性が認められるし、更には、哺乳類にも、真社会性を持つものが発見されている。ハダカデバネズミ、ダマラランドデバネズミである。ハダカデバネズミは、体長10センチ程度の出っ歯の体毛無しネズミで、エチオピアやケニア等の地中にトンネルを掘って集団で棲んでいる。アリやハチと同様に、女王ネズミと生殖器官が発達しない働きネズミに分化している。
個体が形態・機能的に分化して集合体となる群体にも言及しておこう。植物では、ケイソウ類に、動物では、カイメンやクラゲの仲間等に見られる。これも、真社会性がその方向を極めた一つの結果であると考えられる。

さて、本題に戻ろう。人類も、社会性を持つ種である。今後、社会が効率化して、益々、高度な役割分担が要求されると考えられる。効率化を第一目標にすれば、真社会性が強く求められる。だが、それは、自由・平等・民主主義とは一致しない点も多い。
男性と女性の形態的・機能的分化は既に与えられたのものだが、今後、社会的役割として、どうしていけばよいのだろうか。働き過ぎや過度のスポーツをする女性グループが何世代も続くことで、不妊カーストが発生する恐れはないのだろうか。本能的に与えられている競争と協調の意識矛盾をどうバランスさせればよいのだろうか。人間的・頭脳的・技術的・肉体的に優秀なグループとぼんやり人真似グループの社会的役割と待遇をどう考えたらよいのだろうのか。社会に害悪をもたらそうとする人間や怠け者と手を差し伸べなければいけない社会的弱者をどう切り分けたらよいのだろうか。
又、次の様な視点から、社会を見る必要もある。ハダカデバネズミの場合、働きネズミが、女王ネズミを妬んだり、自分の境遇に対し不満を持つことはない。全て、本能の為すところである。人間の場合、意識が進化している分だけ、妬んだり、不満を持ったりする。実は、自由・平等・民主主義には、共産主義も同様だが、高邁な理念の裏に、このようなネガティブな感情が潜んでいることもあるのだ。幸福とは何かという疑問に答える際に、一つのヒントを与えている。

人類社会の向かうべき方向性を模索する場合、自由・平等・民主主義と真社会性の二つの視点から考えてみるのも面白い。

For humanity at the present evolutionary stage, although it contains many contradictions, I think that freedom, equality, and democracy still show the basic direction that our society should take.
However, the creator of the natural universe’s super-intelligent design also presents a direction of evolution, which is completely different from freedom, equality, and democracy, for the species of life seeking for sociality. That is true sociality(eusociality).

True sociality is a term that defines sociality often seen in groups such as ants and bees. The division of roles for maintaining society reflects an evolutionary form that extends to differences in the body and its functions with genetic fixation. In many cases, reproduction is left to a small number of queens, and the average female is smaller than the queen and is infertile, and plays its role in work and fighting.
If the definition is loosely considered, not only ants and bees, but also stink bugs, aphids, beetles, spiders, spider mites, etc., exhibit true sociality. In some species of aphids, the larvae (developed in the front two pairs of legs) that have been tasked with attacking natural enemies have the fate of dying before they reach the second instar, that is, without becoming adults.
In addition, true sociality is also recognized in some species of Alpheus Brevicristatus that collectively live on coral reefs, and further, mammals are also found to have true sociality. These are the naked mole rat and the damara land mole rat. The naked mole rat is a rodent-free rat with a length of about 10 cm, and lives in a group by digging a tunnel in the ground in Ethiopia and Kenya. Similar to ants and bees, they are differentiated into queen rats and working rats in which the reproductive organs do not develop.
Let us also refer to a colony where individuals are differentiated morphologically and functionally into aggregates. In plants, it is found in diatoms, and in animals, it is found in spiders and jellyfish. This is also considered to be one result of the true social orientation of the direction.

Now, let’s return to the main subject. Humankind is also a species with social characteristics. In the future, it is considered that society will become more efficient and increasingly sophisticated division of roles will be required. If efficiency is the first goal, true sociality is strongly required. However, there are many points that do not correspond to freedom, equality, and democracy.
The morphological and functional differentiation between men and women has already been given, but what should we do in the future as a social role? I wonder if fertility caste can occur due to generations of overworked or oversported women’s groups. How should we balance the inconsistent contradiction of competition and cooperation? What should we think about the social roles and treatment as to groups that are humanely, intelligently, technically, and physically excellent and groups that are vaguely imitating the others without definite thinking ? What should we do to separate socially vulnerable people who have to be saved from ethical viewpoint and lazy people who are bringing harm to society?

It is also necessary to look at society from the following perspectives. In the case of the naked mouse, the working rat does not envy the queen or dissatisfy herself with her circumstances. Everything remains instinctive. In the case of human beings, they are jealous and dissatisfied because their consciousness has evolved. In fact,  such negative emotions are hidden behind noble ideas of freedom,equality and democracy, needless to say communism. It gives one hint in answering the question of what is happiness.

When searching for the direction in which human society should go, it is interesting to think from two perspectives: freedom, equality, democracy and true sociality.
